A church cannot have a robust discipleship plan if they are not leaving the church building to go out and bring them in regularly.
yes. Every church needs to train every member in evangelism so they can do the work of the gospel commissioned to us. This is where churches got offtrack sometime in the near past. We dont bring unsaved to church for the pastor to share the Gospel so they get saved. It is not his job, it is yours. The church tho should and must equipt believers to be able to share the Gospel.
"And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh." - Jude 1:22-23
"If you are not seeking the salvation of others, then you are not saved yourself." Charles Spurgeon
My point was is the believers job to go into the world and preach the gospel...not(!) them to bring unsaved to the pastor and hope he gives the gospel from the pulpit so they "get saved" there. It is not the pastors job to go to the world but 👉all believers. The church is for the church made up of the church. The unsaved do not have a Savior nor are they the bride nor do they love and worship God. Theres no need for them to gather with the Saints to worship God for they are not redeemed.
If your church doesnt teach you how to share the Gospel nor have apologetics classes to help you answer questions and swing to the gospel, then go online and find it yourself.
Stop being afraid of those in your circle of influence. If you deny Jesus before men he will deny you. Go reach the perishing.
GO.
