Former Cult or false religion member *

Carefully, livingly, reaching those still trapped in false religion.

Scroll to the religion name

Jehovah Witnesses
There are ways to share biblical truth inevasively and tactically to those still in a cult who still follow you on social media. But, for conversations face to face, you will need to know the Bible well, and understand the errors of the JW religion, in order to answer the objections a JW has been trained to answer you with, and to get them critically thinking and examining and questioning whether the JW religion can be wrong. If theyre open to specific things you reveal, and encourage them to examine it and think about it, God might give them a bit of "light" and "truth" so they go research the matter and start making steps to the exit door, and escape the cult.

Ways to get a cult member thinking and examining their faith.

One way you can reach those still associating with you on social media, is to use your wall to present FAQ, but ones geared towards getting them to peek out of curiosity as to why Christians believe xy and z. Take their belief topic and turn it into a question. They might secretly look into it.

What you are doing is apologetics. You are reasoning with people in false religions, and providing answers to beliefs they have but they never questioned before, including the false religion itself. Your goal is getting them to be curious, think for themselves, use critical thinking skills, and to investigate if theyve been lied to by the cult.  Truth remains true, lies fall and eyes are opened. There is no guarantee your loved ones will leave the cult, but you can be a loving, gentle follower of Christ faithfully reaching out to the lost. And at the end of the day you are reasoning with people, sharing truth and praying for them. You cannot save them nor guarantee they'll get saved, but if it is God's Will, he will lead them to the truth and salvation. Doing your best is all you can do. All you can do is faithfully do your best, and leave the rest to God. Perhaps He will place others in their paths to plant more seeds, water the knowledge they learn, and turn to Him.

You can find answers to these and related questions at repytable Christian ministries websites, and youtube videos. Use those for the link in the post. You can also find several linked on the resources page here,💥 as they include additional inner links for further research as well as the Gospel message.

The above example apllies to all cults and false religions.
